DANIEL–ROSS RICHARDS

DIRECTOR (LLB, LLM)

Mr Richards. is a Director and Founder of DR Richards Attorneys. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Pretoria and is admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

He further obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial Law, as well as a Certificate in Advanced Labour Law with distinction, from the University of South Africa.

Following his admission as an attorney, Mr. Richards joined KPMG as a Legal Advisor, where he gained extensive experience in financial legal matters, commercial law, and corporate law. He later served as Group Legal Advisor at Primedia Unlimited, specialising in commercial, corporate, competition, labour, marketing, and media law. Mr. Richards has extensive expertise in corporate and commercial law, with particular focus on commercial transactions, information technology law, intellectual property, corporate finance, B-BBEE, mergers and acquisitions, and the structuring and restructuring of businesses. Mr. Richards regularly advises prominent listed and private companies across a broad range of industries, including finance, manufacturing, mining, construction, technology, and other private sector enterprises.

With experience spanning multiple jurisdictions, including South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Eswatini, Mr Richards brings a practical, commercially focused approach to legal advisory services. He is recognised for strong leadership, strategic management skills, and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and fellow legal professionals.

ABRAHM GWANGWA

DIRECTOR (B.PROC)

Mr. Gwangwa is a Director at DR Richards Attorneys.

He obtained his Baccalaureus Procurationis (B.Proc) degree from the University of Pretoria and is admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa. He further obtained a Diploma in Insolvency Practice from the Association of Insolvency Practitioners of Southern Africa (AIPSA), as well as an Advanced Certificate in Labour Law and a Certificate in Legislative Drafting.

Mr. Gwangwa has extensive experience across a broad spectrum of legal disciplines, with particular expertise in labour law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial legal matters.

Throughout his career, Mr. Gwangwa has drafted numerous contracts for various state-owned enterprises and public entities, including the Ports Regulator, the Financial Intelligence Centre, and the Ombud for Financial Services Providers. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Gwangwa has presented workshops and delivered papers at numerous industry seminars, demonstrating his commitment to professional development and knowledge sharing. Mr. Gwangwa is recognised for his strong leadership, management capabilities, and ability to foster lasting business relationships. LYNN-MARIE GROENEWALD

ASSOCIATE (LLB, MSC REAL ESTATE) (CONVEYANCER / NOTARY)

Mrs. Groenewald obtained her Baccalaureus Legum (LLB) degree from the University of the Free State and her Master of Science (Real Estate) (MSc Real Estate) degree from the University of Pretoria.

She is an admitted Attorney, Conveyancer, and Notary Public with extensive expertise in conveyancing, notarial practice, and the administration of deceased estates.

She is passionate about delivering professional and accurate legal services within her specialised fields, ensuring that each matter is handled with care, efficiency, and attention to detail. With a strong sense of responsibility and dedication to her clients, Mrs. Groenewald consistently strives to exceed expectations by providing reliable, high-quality legal solutions.
